From its inception, High Sierra Crude Oil & Marketing, LLC (HSCOM) has focused on the strict adherence to safety and DOT (Department of Transportation) compliance. Our desire is to ensure that every employee and contractor goes home safely each evening. We do this by being committed to the regulations put in place, ensuring those regulations are followed, communicating regularly with our field operations staff and monitoring the process to ensure we are consistently improving.

Each month, the HSCOM management team meets to review the results from our DOT and other safety programs. By sharing this information with each other, they determine how the different personnel are performing against the set metrics. Based on these results, an operations monthly meeting is held shortly afterwards, where safety lessons learned and other pertinent topics are discussed with the field personnel.

This commitment to safety will ensure that we continue to focus our attention on what’s most important – our people.
